How Do I Import my Contacts to my Online Office?
Adding your Exported List to the Pure Romance Template
Now that you have exported your contacts, you are ready to put them into the Pure Romance template that can be found on the Online Office. Click here for details.
You will need to copy and paste each column, one at a time, into the template. Example: from the exported document, you will need to copy the entire row called "First Name" and paste it in the "FirstName" column within the template. Your custom CSV file will appear as shown below.
IMPORTANT: All Contacts within this template MUST HAVE AN EMAIL ADDRESS. If a contact does not have a valid, working email address, then it must be deleted or removed from the template.
If there are contacts without email addresses listed, the system will not successfully upload your contact list. You will receive an error asking you to remove any contacts without email addresses.
Once you've removed or deleted the necessary contacts to import successfully, you will need to save your template. It will need to be saved as a CSV file in order to successfully import.
Click File > Save As > then you will need to click the dropdown "Save as Type" or "File Format" depending on your device/computer.
Now you will need to change the document type to "CSV UTF-8 (Comma delimited)" as shown in the image below.

Once you have saved your document to your computer, go to your Online Office Contacts Importer. This can be found under My Business > My Contacts > Import Contacts. For more information on the Contact Importer Wizard click here.
Click "Choose File" to upload the document you just saved to your computer. Your document's title will appear as shown in the image below.
Once you've uploaded your file to the Contacts Importer, click "Load Contacts" as shown in the image below.
Your contacts from your document that were uploaded will appear on the Contacts Importer screen as shown below.
Important: You must select the contacts you would like to import before clicking the import button.
If you want to select the entire list quickly, click the top row's "select all" button.
If there are contacts that you would like to remove, you will have to deselect them individually at this time.
Once you have finished selecting the contacts you would like to import, click "Import Contacts" as show by the arrow below.
Once you have clicked "Import Contacts," you should receive a success notification.
Important: If an email address already exists, the system will provide you with the option to "replace" or keep the current contact info. If you select "yes" all email addresses listed in the pop up window will be overwritten.
Once you have received the success notification, please proceed to your Online Office to ensure contacts have been imported successfully.
