Becoming a Consultant 

• What will a Consultant need to sign up in Mexico? 
  • Agree to the terms of being a consultant at Pure Romance in the enrollment process (at time of kit purchase) 
  • RFC (upon 1st login) and 1 Official ID Type (upon 1st login) 

 

• Does a prospective new Consultant need to select a Sponsor? 
  • Yes, we would like for prospective Consultants to have a Sponsor that can help them through the Consultant process when they are purchasing their Consultant kit. 

•  

• What payment types will be available in Mexico:
  • Visa, Mastercard, American Express, PayNet and any other payments available on the OpenPay platform.  

• What are the Starter Pack Kit options in Mexico? 
  • Standard Kit: Value-$9,450 MXN, Everyday Price-$5,199MXN. 
  • Deluxe Kit: Value-$19,840 MXN, Everyday Price-$10,299 MXN. 

• What other items will come in the Starter Pack Kits? 
  • The Consultant will receive a welcome packet via PDF via the new Consultant’s email.  

Training/Support Information 

• What type of Consultant training will be offered in Mexico? 
  • Our Training Site will be available in Spanish soon.  

• Will the mobile point-of-sale work in Mexico? 
  • Yes. We hope to have this available in Jan 2023 in the Mexico market.  

• How do I contact the Corporate Office for inquiries outside of this FAQ?

Product Information 

• Will there be a printed catalog in Mexico? How do I get one? 
  • Yes, a printed catalog will exist; it will also be available digitally. Catalogs will be included in pack purchases and are also available for Consultant purchase on the Online Office.  

• Will all products currently available in the US be available in Mexico at the time of launch? 
  • No. Because the importation requirements are extensive, Pure Romance has selected our most popular items for the initial launch in Mexico.  Testosterone Boost, Brain Health Boost and Pure21 are still in the process of being approved; we hope to have these products approved and available by August 2022. 

• Will products have labels that are in Spanish? 
  • Yes, all products will be labeled in Spanish in accordance with the product labeling requirements in Mexico.  

• Are Inventory Boosters going to be offered in Mexico?
  • No. 

• Are products certified in Mexico? 
  • Yes. All products are certified with COFEPRIS.  

Compensation Plan Information 

• Will the Mexican compensation plan be the same as the US? 
  • No. We are very excited to launch an enhanced compensation plan in Mexico. This compensation plan will be posted for review when complete.  

• What will be the minimum and maximum Buying Discount percentage on Consultant orders? Buying discount will be based upon career retail since most recent kit purchases as follows: 
  • Retail sales of 0-20,000 MXN = 30% buying discount 
  • Retail sales of 20,000.01-200,000 MXN = 40% buying discount 
  • Retail sales of >200,000 MXN = 50% buying discount 

• What are the amounts that I can be paid on the sales of other Consultants that I sponsor into the business.  
  • The compensation plan pays up to 8% on the retail sales of those that you bring into the business. These payments are referred to as “overrides” and are income that the Consultant can earn for bringing other selling Consultants into the business. This income is secondary to what the Consultant makes selling products.  

• How will Mexican Consultants receive override and commission payments? 
  • Pure Romance Pay will be utilized in Mexico, too. Each Consultant will receive a digital account to receive funds. These accounts will be funded in Mexican Pesos.  
  • All bonus and commission payments to Consultants in Mexico will be treated using the income tax retention method. Thus, Pure Romance will retain the appropriate income tax from these payments. Consultants will receive an electronic invoice reflecting these payments and the income tax retained. Pure Romance will file the electronic invoice with the Tax Authority and remit the income tax. Consultants will be required during sign-up to acknowledge and accept the use of the income tax retention method. 

• Can Mexican Consultants sponsor in the US? 
  • Yes they can, however, they will be compensated based upon the Mexican compensation plan once the retail has been translated to Mexican Pesos.  

• Will a US Consultant be able to sponsor a Mexican Consultant? 
  • Cross-border sponsorship will be encouraged and facilitated by multiple communications to existing US & Puerto Rican Consultants.  

Purchase Information 

• What payment types will be available in Mexico: 
  • Visa, Mastercard, American Express, PayNet and any other payments available on the OpenPay platform.   

• How will taxes be charged in Mexico? 
  • Mexico’s value-added tax of 16% will be added to all purchases made.  
  • Ecommerce prices and Catalog prices will be inclusive of 16% VAT (IVA) 
  • Online office pricing will be shown prior to VAT, and the VAT will be charged at the order level at 16% on qualifying items. Upon resale of these items, when charging VAT to customers, Consultants must calculate VAT on the sale price of the item(s) after discounts and including shipping and handling (where applicable). Consultants must file tax receipts and remit VAT payments to the Tax Authority.  

• Will Mexican Consultant’s purchases be reported to the Mexican government? 
  • Yes, we will report all purchases to the Mexican government in accordance with law. We will be using an automated service (e-invoicing) to deliver those to the government.  

Purchase Fulfillment Information 

• What fulfillment company will Pure Romance be using in Mexico? 
  • DHL will be used in Mexico. All packages will have tracking information delivered via email. DHL requires a signature from an adult 18 years of age or older. 

• Will local pickup (distribution facility pick-up) be allowed in Mexico: 
  • Not initially. We will review once we have the operations at the facility in strong working order.  

• Where will the distribution facility be located? 
  • The distribution facility is located in Mexico City, Mexico.

SPEI Payment Information

When checking out with SPEI please use the following steps:

1. Access your bank's Internet or mobile banking service.
2. Identify the SPEI® payment option.
   • SPEI® payments are also known as same-day payments, electronic transfers, interbank transfers, and third-party payments.
   • Remember, SPEI® payments are always made between accounts at different banks.
3. Provide the payment data: reference number, type of payment, and the amount of the operation.
